No there's nothing you can do but I just want to cry a little bit.
Seems that the HDD in my "big" Mac has died today. It worked well yesterday and now it isn't starting up anymore.
This is not a real disaster, I did my backups - but the last one is from mid October - so I will loose my last candid series which have been edited during the last days.
Actually I try to get it back to life to copy the files which have changed from the last backup (not very much because I mostly use my MacBook these days - but the last pictures, some movies and some personal files will be gone).
Let's keep the fingers crossed that I can access the HDD one last time...
